Note: The purpose of the spacer is to hold the cable housing away from the caliper bracket. Drum parking brake cables have a longer distance between the housing and the ball on the end of the cable.

1. Enlarge the hole in the cable bracket slightly. (9/16 inch)

2. Put the sleeve on the cable housing spacer and put in the hole on the caliper bracket.

3. Put the cable through the spacer and see if the cable will hook up to the arm in the caliper.

4. Cut the sleeve to shorten how far the cable housing spacers extends out of the caliper bracket

5. Cut off the excess tubing on the bottom of the cable housing spacer. Leave enough to install the clip. About ¼ inch.

6. The clips are a tight fit push on with a socket to get it even.

7. If the clip won’t hold secure enough weld everything to the caliper bracket.
