1. Remove drum parking brake parts. Machine drum off of the splined yoke assembly. Leave a flange of about 4 9/16. You can also send us your drum assembly and we will machine off the drum or buy a new one from us that has been modified.
2. If your old seal leaks and you want to use the new seal which seals against an unworn spot on the splined yoke assembly, install the seal backwards from normal in the caliper bracket and seal the surfaces between the transfer case and the caliper bracket. Install using the 4 socket head screws. Use 2 washers on the upper left one as it has a short blind hole.
3. Reinstall the splined yoke with the rotor mounted to it. Use the 7/16-20 bolts pointing to the rear as the space is limited on the front side.
4. Install the caliper.
5. Hook up the cable using the clevis to connect to the caliper arm.
6. Adjust the parking brake travel at the front end of the cable.
